How do I check when there is mouse activity?

While a worker is logged into the HiveDesk Client, it will check every minutes to see if there is any mouse or keyboard activity. If there is no mouse or keyboard activity for 60 seconds, it will be marked as idle time. 

The active time of a team member is calculated by subtrcting this idle time from the total work session time.

You can check the Active Time in Reports > Team Member Timesheet Detail Report > WorkSession Chart.

Select the Team member and a time frame for the report. Click View chart to see the report. The area under Red line is the Active time.
